This is a beginner level class is designed to give learners a chance to meet other learners and discuss magic the gathering. Learners should have at least a basic understanding of the rules and how to play, more complex rules will be taught. Each week we will begin the class by having a discussion about new strategies and how the learners can improve their Magic the Gathering skills as well as a recap of last week with feedback for improvment. These topics will be driven by the learners. The goal of this class is to help learners think of new and exciting ways to play. We will also discuss rules so that learners are familiar with less common rulings and interactions. I will be around to handle any ruling issues that arise. For this class learners will need a deck built in the commander format. Since we are playing on zoom the learners will also need a camera that can view the desk space in front of them. They will be playing their cards the same way they would in person. Minimum field of view needed is 20in x 10in which is roughly the size of a playmat.
