In this introductory magic class, students will learn how to vanish a pen, transform a fork to a spoon and then magically bend and straighten the spoon! Students will be provided demonstrations, instructions and opportunities to practice.
Class experience
Learners will be taught: * Vanishing Coin * Vanishing Pen * Vanishing Pen & Coin * Silverware Switch * Spoon Bender The class is structured around presentation, explanation and practice. I will demonstrate how a trick might be presented for an audience. Then, I will explain presentation tips including what to say and do and how and why you perform certain actions. Students will then be offered the opportunity to practice performing the trick for the class. Students will also be coached on...
Students will learn at least 3 magic tricks using everyday objects. They will be coached on presentation tips and be provided with practice performing magic. Students will learn performance techniques and how to be a good audience for magicians.
3 files available upon enrollment* Pen (It may be helpful to have a variety of pens to choose from, different sizes and styles) * Coin * Spoon & Fork (a smaller tea spoon vs a soup spoon may be better) * Fabric Square (Wash Cloth or Cloth Napkin or Bandana)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
