Description

Class Experience

In this class, we will be discussing the adventures of Theo as he deals with the difficult decision between music and magic as well as between his Magic Misfit friends and a new friend who has come into the picture. Will Theo be able to make a decision? Will he leave the Magic Misfits behind for a new friend? Let's find out together! 

Class will consist of instructor-directed discussion. Discussion topics will include the reader's favorite moments in the story, parts of the story they found...

Education: BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Communication and minors in Philosophy and Theology from the University of St. Thomas

Experience: More than 7 years as a homeschool parent, more than 30 years of being an avid reader, 3 years of writing fiction while meeting with published authors to discuss different aspects of writing and books, 6 previous high school-level classes taught on this platform in addition to several classes taught on the aspects of writing on Outschool as well as at local libraries for more than 2 years, I am also a Municipal Liaison for the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) program

Class 3: Chapters 8-12 (pages 102-155)

Class 4: Chapters How to...-17 (pages 156-211)

Class 5: Chapters 18-21 (pages 212-259)

Class 6: Chapters 22-The Dove Codes (pages 260-313)

All students will need a copy of The Magic Misfits: The Minor Third!

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
