Description
Class Experience
Learners will be reacquainted with visual art vocabulary, rediscovering it in a personal, meaningful, exciting and interactive way. Vocabulary includes radial design, elements and principles of art, chance operations, and many more. In addition, learners will show and verbally present their works of art to the instructor and their peers.
I am a visual artist and I've obsessed over making mandalas from various mediums for decades. I am a licensed art educator, currently teaching public high school foundations and painting. I have 20+ years of teaching experience, including professorships in art education at two universities.
2 files available upon enrollmentWhite or light paper, no larger than 12x18" Markers and/or sharpened colored pencils in a variety of colors pair of dice, or one die (optional if not available) quarter or other coin (optional if not available)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
