Class Experience

While I am not a trained audiologist, I am the mother of a 6 year old with hearing loss. He wears one cochlear implant and one hearing aid. Over the years I have taken the time to educate myself and others about hearing loss, and have also served on the board of directors for a hearing loss organization. I have visited his classroom and have read this story to his peers. It is always met with interest and great discussion!
I will provide a hearing aid coloring template for students to color and design their own hearing aid.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
