Hey everyone! Welcome to Magic Club! In this ongoing course we will be discussing different topics in magic every week. Students will learn something new about magic each week. The great thing about Ongoing courses is that there will not be a need for prior knowledge to focus on what we are learning that week. This is the class that students will want to bring their questions about magic so that they can be answered in a thoughtful way. Students will have the opportunity to share any magic...
Students will learn all aspects of card magic including but not limited to: How to shuffle cards, how to do false shuffles, self working card tricks, tricks that require sleight of hand, card flourishes, etc.
I have been performing magic for over 17 years. I have spent that entire time practicing and perfecting sleight of hand with cards. I have taught several classes at after school programs, the ymca and boys and girls clubs.
Homework Offered
The only homework that will be required is to practice, practice, practice! Also, to have fun!Assessments Offered
Each week each student will have the opportunity to demonstrate what they have been working on with the class.Grades Offered
0Just a deck of cards. I prefer to use the bicycle brand, however, any brand will work!
