Magic and Mythology: Greek Gods and Goddesses Part 2

We will read some of the biggest and best fantasy series in the Magic and Mythology book clubs and discuss at each meeting. We will read series like The Chronicles of Narnia, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Chronicles of Prydain, and more! We will also watch adaptations of the movies if there is one for a particular book or series and then compare/contrast the two. 

This edition of the Magic and Mythology book club will focus on the Heroes of Olympus series and the Greek gods and goddesses. Class will start with introductions and conversation before moving onto discussing what we read for the class. Class will end with a preview of the next class. 

We will work on the Heroes of Olympus series: 
Week 1: Discussion of The Lost Hero
Week 2: Discussion of The Son of Neptune
Week 3: Discussion of The Mark of Athena
Week 4: Discussion of The House of Hades
Week 5: Discussion of The Blood of Olympus
Week 6: Discussion of The Demigod Diaries, Greek Heroes, and Greek Gods

*There must be at least 3 students enrolled in each class for there to be a discussion. Class will be cancelled if there are less than 3 learners.*
