In this class, the students will review the parts of speech and then use the parts of speech to complete funny stories about the elf.

In this class, students will complete Mad Libs about a funny elf. We will begin by reviewing nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. The students will take turns giving a word that matches the part of speech needed for the story. These words will be typed in the chatbox. Then the students will take turns reading the stories that were written by the teacher and filling in the missing words. The stories will be about The trip from the North Pole and Playing with the Reindeer. If there is time the students will complete Funny Places That He Likes to Hide and will be able to write their own sentences and have the other students fill in the missing parts of speech. Please request a different time if you do not see one that works for you.
