US Grade 3 - 5
In this class, the students will use the parts of speech to complete funny stories. We will begin by reviewing nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. The students will take turns giving a word that matches the part of speech needed for the story. These words will be typed in the chatbox. Then the students will take turns reading the stories that were written by the teacher and filling in the missing words. The stories will be about catching a leprechaun and trying to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. If there is time, the students will complete a third story about the lucky four-leaf clover. The students will be able to write their own sentences and have the other students fill in the missing parts of speech if there is time.
