In this class, native speakers and ESL students will practice using nouns, verbs, pronouns, adjectives, and adverbs to complete funny stories.

We will begin by reviewing nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Then the students will be asked to provide a word that matches a certain part of speech. These words will be typed in the chatbox. Then the students will read the funny stories that were written by the teacher using these words in the blank spaces in the story. The stories will be about jack-o-lanterns and a Halloween party. The learners with complete a third story called Trick or Treating if there is time. The students will then be able to write their own sentences and ask the other students to fill in a missing part of speech.
