In this one time class students discuss anger, frustration and being mad. They will become aware of what these feelings are and how everyone gets angry. Children will learn that all people feel angry at one time or another. But it is how we deal with our anger and react to a situation is what matters. Learners will then be taught the STP method when dealing with their own anger. Learners will learn ways in which to calm their anger and bodies down before reacting. Students will interact with others while brainstorming. There will be a hand out so children can remember to Stop Think and Practice! Students do not need prior knowledge on this subject. Class is student centered and very interactive with all learners. Welcome/ Guidelines What are feelings? What does it mean to be angry?
