Description
Class Experience
In this session, students will review the meaning of the different parts of speech: nouns(regular and proper), verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. After this review, we will work to complete a funny story that will allow them to practise their skills generating their own words for each category. As well, learners will be challenged to come up with the most interesting/unusual/bizarre words for each part of speech. This will ensure that our stories are interesting AND hilarious! Students will learn about the different parts of speech AND practise coming up with interesting/descriptive words to help build their confidence in completing longer writing tasks.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
