In this class, students will begin with the basics of multiplication. We will learn the facts through a variety of strategies: repeated addition, equal groups, arrays, and skip counting on the instructional slides the teacher will provide. The class will then progress toward fluency using multiplication facts. The lessons will be structured as a teacher demonstration by sharing my screen with the learners, modeling, illustration, group discussion, then student independent practice. Students...

I have a BS degree in Elementary Education from Rhode Island College with a concentration in Mathematics. I have a passion for math and want my students to love math as much as I do!
Use the created flash cards, students should practice 15-20 minutes daily the facts we have learned in our class. Students can use their filled in multiplication chart to pratice as well.

Student will be assessed through teacher questioning and observation throughout the lesson.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Learners are required to leave their cameras, screens, & microphones on at all times unless a parent/guardian has contacted the teacher prior to class and granted the learner consent to do otherwise.
