Class Experience
In this one time class, we will be discussing threading a needle on a traditional sewing machine! In this class we will go in depth on HOW to thread a sewing machine. I will show how to thread a traditional sewing machine and will answer any questions on how to do it correctly. We will also go over the proper use of an automatic threading device if students have a machine equiped with one and what to use to make threading the needle easier. I am a self-taught sewist and love teaching kids how to sew! I also homeschool my own children and teach them how to sew.
All students will need a traditional sewing machine. Students coming to class with a "mini" sewing machine or "kid's" sewing machine may experience difficulty as these machines are very different than a traditional machine. Please be aware of this discrepancy prior to enrolling in class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is required for the use of sharp objects.
