Description

Class Experience

The primary focus of this class is to improve socialization. My hope is that the students in this class will feel comfortable enough to participate and share with each other. I will, of course, remind students to treat each other with kindness and to listen respectfully when others are speaking.

We will start our social time by introducing ourselves and our dogs.   As the teacher, I will introduce myself and give each student a chance to introduce themselves and their dog.  If your child is...

Students will learn to listen to others respectfully without interrupting them. Students will also learn to speak in front of their peers. They will practice social-emotional skills and conversational skills as well.

There are no outside commitments for this class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
