US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Beginner Level
The students will meet twice a week in the "lunchroom" to eat lunch and socialize with friends and the teacher. They will practice conversational skills, being a good listener, and taking turns. Students are welcome to bring a lunch, something to drink or a snack to eat. The teacher will begin the lunch break with introductions of friends. If the students feel comfortable, they will be encouraged to tell one of their favorites such as favorite color, favorite toy, favorite animal, or...
~Social Skills: interacting with others, speaking directly to others, listening when others speak, taking turns when talking, being a kind friend, using table manners, cleaning up after eating.
Students are welcome to bring a lunch and a drink or a snack for this social class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
