Class Experience

Are you looking for a way for your student to celebrate and learn about St. Patrick's Day while having fun? Then you came to the right place! In this one-time class, we will be reading a St. Patrick's Day story (Leprechaun on the Loose by Marcia Jones) and learning some basic facts about St. Patrick's Day. After reading, we will make a leprechaun by tracing our hand and adding accessories. Once our craft is done, we will play a few games if times allows. The games will include (but may not be...

Students will learn basic facts about St. Patrick's Day. Students will also listen to a story and use basic literacy skills. During the craft portion of our class, learners will follow directions as well as use materials properly to create their project. While playing games, the students will use listening skills, turn taking and will also work on letter recognition/identification.

For the craft portion of our class, students will need:
Scissors
Glue
Pencil
Black marker
Construction paper in the following colors: Orange, tan, green, black, yellow

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Students will be using scissors and glue during this class. Parental guidance is advised for this activity.
