HI! I'm Ariel and I can't wait to meet you in the classroom. Yes, ARIEL, like the mermaid! I love helping students develop a love of writing, delve into their curiosity of the world around them through science, and explore the magic of beloved fantasy worlds like Disney and Harry Potter. I have my advanced teaching license for Elementary Education as well as English as a Second Language. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013. I then received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the world renowned Johns Hopkins University in 2015 I live outside of Baltimore, Maryland with my husband and little kitten. I love to sing, smile, and make children laugh.

Ever since I was a little kid I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I love learning even now as an adult, and there is nothing better than helping students learn and share my passion for education. I am currently in my ninth year teaching in Maryland Public Schools. Working online has given me so much joy and I cannot wait to continue teaching here with Outschool. See you in the classroom soon!
