Class Experience

Do you want your learner to receive weekly support and tutoring from a qualified 6-12 Montessori Elementary teacher? 

In these weekly sessions of 30 minutes each, your learner can receive one-to-one tuition in an area or areas that they need to work on. This could be in maths, language arts (English), science or social studies, which will be agreed upon in an initial one-off meeting with the learner and in consultation with their parent too. Sophie, the owner of Great Lessons is a qualified Montessori teacher, and all of our teachers hold a recognised Montessori qualification and experience to teach children in this age group.

Learners may be given additonal practice work to carry out between sessions.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Google Docs
Google Slides
Montessori Tools

Progress will be assessed each week by the teacher by informal assessments. A written report can be given on request.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

This class may require access to the Montessori Tools website, which does not require a login to participate. Google Slides and Google Docs may also be used.
