Class Experience

This is a Flex class.  There are no live meetings with flex courses. 

In this four week course students will learn to make four different low sugar horse treats. All of these treats are different from the horse treats we make in my other self paced horse treat classes.   Each week I will post a video of myself making the treat.  

Please check the supply list below before registering for this course.   If your student has any allergies, please message me to see if we can substitute the ingredient with something else.

Lesson 1:
Pear Cookies
 In this lesson students will learn how to make pear flavored horse cookies 
Lesson 2:
Apple Cookies
 In this lesson students will learn how to make apple flavored horse cookies. 
Lesson 3:
Peanut Butter Cookies
 In this lesson students will learn how to make peanut butter flavored horse cookies 
Lesson 4:
Carrot Cookies
 In this lesson students will learn how to make carrot flavored horse cookies. 

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Students will be using knives, blender and the oven during this course. If your student in not familiar with the safety of using these items please assist them as needed. These horse treats are not completely sugar free, but are lower sugar content, with no added sugars. Please check the supply list below to check for allergies (both human and horse). If there is an allergy to an ingredient please message me prior to signing up to verify we can substitute that ingredient with something allergen free. Videos are uploaded to you tube, they are set for kids, so there are no ads with the video. They are listed as unlisted so students will only be able to view them with the link listed in the classroom each week.

2 cup oats
1/4 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup flour
1 cup unsweetened applesauce (make sure no sugar is added)
1/2 cup shredded carrot
4 tbsp flax seed
2  tbsp + 1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp honey
3 pears (or can use 2 bananas or 2 apples if you prefer)
3 tbsp chia seeds
 1 file available upon enrollment
