Low Sensory Chess Lessons (for Ages 4+)

This class is for young learners with little or no exposure to chess.  We'll start by teaching the foundational basics of the game, and then build upon that foundation to introduce key strategies for winning games.  Each week's lesson starts with about 30 minutes of explanation and discussion of the week’s topic, followed by, for the remaining duration of each class, the learners collectively playing as a team against the teacher for practice (the teacher will move the pieces on the screen for both sides).  

This class requires no external software or websites, and is specifically designed for ease of access for learners who will only have to use Outschool’s integrated Zoom Video Conferencing, to prevent over-stimulation & overwhelming moments of sensory overload for young learners.
