In this 12-week course, students will learn French vocabulary and grammar, and practice listening, reading, and speaking skills.
Class experience
This course is designed for students who already have knowledge of some French grammar and vocabulary. For students who have taken my Beginner/Intermediate French Semester Course, this is a follow-up class to the first semester. We will be working on material at the A1 and A2 level (low intermediate French). I will use slides to present vocabulary and grammar in each lesson, which will be available as a PDF file after each class for students to view or download from the classroom page. The...
Students will learn French vocabulary and grammar. They will also learn how to pronounce French words, write short texts, identify and understand spoken French.
I am a native French speaker and have done a lot of tutoring and teaching French to kids. My strategy is to engage the student and make it as pleasant and fun as possible, so that learning comes naturally.
Homework Offered
Homework assignments will involve online quizzes, worksheets, crossword puzzles, speaking, listening, and writing prompts. Each student is expected to review the lesson after class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
