Through interactive conversation, pictures, and songs, students will learn what Earth Day stands for. Students will learn Earth Day vocabulary words such as Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Protect, and Conserve. Students will also learn fun facts about how taking steps in our every day life can help the planet. Did you know that one ton of recycled paper can save 17 trees? At the end of the class, students will get a "pledge" coloring sheet so that they can take the pledge to help keep our Earth...
Students will learn basic vocabulary words such as reduce, reuse, and recycle. They will know at least one fun fact about how to help protect Earth.
We all need to do our part to help keep the Earth thriving. What better way to learn about Earth than through celebrating Earth day? I love making learning fun!
At the end of the class, students will receive a certificate that they can color and "pledge" to help protect the planet!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
