Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Lovebirds are a type of parrot often associated with Valentine's Day. In this class, students will learn all about these birds that helped to inspire Valentine's Day. Students will learn about the history and importance of lovebirds. They will also learn about their characteristics, behavior, and ecology. This class only meets one time for 30 minutes. All students are encouraged regardless of their birding experience. The class is lecture-style with slides, but students are encouraged to ask questions and share their own knowledge. Students can participate as much or as little as they want.
