Description
Class Experience
Learning goals Letter recognition Letter writing Fine motor skills how to hold a crayon correctly
No homework but when reading with your child asking, they what letters they see is always fun. Also letting your child play with the big lines, little lines, big curves and little curves is fun also to see what letters they can build on their own.
Each child will need 2 big lines, 2 little lines, 1 big curve, and 2 little curves. How to make a big line if is a long skinny rectangle. A little line is just like the big line only half the size. How to make a big curve just cut out a letter C the size of a full piece of paper, and a little curve is half the size of a piece of paper. They will also need paper and their favorite color of crayon.
We will be writing the letter at the end of each class to see how the child is doing and what we can do to support the child more if needed.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
