Come play a fun game of ¡Lotería! ¡Lotería! is often referred to as Mexican bingo. This game and this class is a fun way to learn and practice Spanish. Students will practice their Spanish listening, reading and comprehension skills.

Description

Class Experience

Students will learn new Spanish vocabulary words (nouns) while playing a FUN game of "¡Lotería!"

0 - 7 minutes: Introductions, Zoom Room Rules Overview & Warm-Up
7 - 25 minutes: ¡Lotería! (Learn & Play)
25 - 30 minutes: Review, Award Ceremony & Goodbye

*Times may vary depending on the class, but I do my best to stick to this schedule so that students get the maximum play time.
 6 files available upon enrollment
The teacher will provide the ¡Lotería! "tablas" (cards) digitally, in the course classroom chat board. The students cards should be printed out before our class and students are encouraged to print multiple cards to change each round and because the cards will be marked on each round. Students will also need something (pen, marker, crayon, pencil) to mark the card when one of his or her squares is called.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
