Students will improve their understanding of long vowel patterns when reading and writing words.
I have been a first grade teacher for 14 years and absolutely love teaching students how to read and helping them to build a confidence in reading.
Read some fun books at home! While reading, be on a hunt for words that contain our long vowel patterns!

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
