Your teacher has been a fan of improv since age 9 and a performing actress for 15 years! She's studied with one of the founders of Improv (Charna Halpern), co-established Shanghai's first all-female improv team, opened an ESL Theater Acting school in Shanghai, China from 2017-2019 and has traveled around the world performing and studying with fantastic improv coaches. Kelly has also worked as a professional actress for 5+ years. In live theater, she has performed as Molly Brown (From the Titanic), Mother Wolf (The Jungle Book), Ms. Hannigan (Annie), and she's hosted theater festivals. She has done voiceover work for Alibaba, Nestle, Nivea, Hitachi, and many independent video games. She's worked for an app named Jiliguala in China (similar to Blues Clues - but interactive for teaching English) and she's worked on projects with Dr. Panda (international bestselling APP). She wrote an award-winning short film "Miss Sing Something & The Magic Cat". Throughout 2020, Kelly has lead weekly international workshops for young adults with the Beijing Improv (Wednesday mornings USA, Wednesday evenings USA). She also teaches private improv classes online to ESL students internationally + takes lessons regularly. At the moment she is taking a weekly Meisner improv class out of Seattle + twice-a-week improv lessons with Bill Arnett out of Chicago.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
