Homework
1-2 hours per week. Students will be given one worksheet to complete per lesson (not including Lesson 1) during the duration of the class. Since this is a self paced class, when the learner completes the assignments is up to the family. The homework can be turned in once completed for feedback.
Grading
A mark of Pass or No Pass will be provided upon request of the parent.

Syllabus

5 Lessons
over 1 Week
Lesson 1:
Long Division Vocabulary
 Students will know the important vocabulary terms that are needed to understand the long division process. 

Terms include: divisor, dividend, quotient, remainder 
Lesson 2:
Dividing 3-Digit Numbers
 Students will be able to divide 3-digit numbers by a 1-digit number using the long division process of Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Bring Down. 
Lesson 3:
Dividing 4-Digit Numbers
 Students will be able to divide 4-digit numbers by a 1-digit number using the long division process of Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Bring Down. 
Lesson 4:
Dividing 5-Digit Numbers
 Students will be able to divide 5-digit numbers by a 1-digit number using the long division process of Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Bring Down.

Printable resources will be provided but are not required to be printed to use. Students should have paper and a writing utensil to work through the homework and activities given in class.
