Students will start with basic division skills. We will begin with dividing with one digit, then 2, then 3, then multiple digits by means of long division. We will also learn how to write the answer correctly in 3 different ways (Remainder, fraction, decimal). Knowledge of basic multiplication skills will be needed, in order to work on division. The student should have some introduction to division. We can review multiplication and talk about the role that it plays in the division. Students will work on building confidence while dividing. If your student is the only one to sign up, I may cut the class to 45 minutes. 50 minutes is intended for a group.
