Welcome to London Virtual Tour Camp 3. This week we will explore Victoria Station, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben & the Houses of Parliament. In each class, we will "virtually visit" the location, learn some interesting facts about the place, hear about historic events that occurred there, and take a virtual selfie. As a professional London tour guide, I'll answer any questions you may have along the way! Each class will be a 30 minute class focusing on one particular London tourist site. The class will be taught using slides, videos, Google maps. Each child will have a handout with facts and questions to answer. Discussion during class will be encouraged, virtual selfie can also be taken using a zoom background given in class.
Learning Goals
*Students will be able to recite at least two facts about each location
*Students can take a virtual selfie to keep
*Students will be able to locate the location on Google Maps and use the yellow man to explore
