Students, with teacher guidance, will solve logic puzzles by using their reading comprehension skills, deductive reasoning, and the visual representation on a grid. In class, we will solve some basic logic puzzles together as a group.  I will ask for volunteers to read each clue (no one is required to read to the group).  We then will discuss each clue and how it relates to the items in the grid. We must use our reading and listening comprehension skills to determine what each clue means.  By learning how to solve basic logic puzzles, students can then advance to more complex logic puzzles. It is a fun, life-long hobby. Even though this is a one time class, new puzzles will be used if your child signs up again and again and again.

In addition to logic puzzles, other activities to challenge your brain will be introduced in class. These activities will utilize the students' math skills, visual skills, and reasoning.

I have a relaxed, fun teaching style.  We will work as a group but participants can observe if they are not comfortable participating in the discussion.
