In this interactive five-session course, high-ability students will learn to use deductive reasoning skills to solve introductory-level logic puzzles and brain teasers. This is a great course for *beginners* with limited exposure to logic!

Description
Class Experience
In this class we will learn... * deductive reasoning * spacial reasoning * modeling/griding/sketching strategies for problem-solving
There will be no required homework, but I will offer extension activities for interested students.
1 file available upon enrollmentscissors paper writing implements match sticks or toothpicks, or strips of paper cut to be match-sized (optional) Handouts will be provided upon enrollment- please print prior to our first class.
There is no formal assessment for this course. As a teacher of gifted and high ability students, I find that grading typically increases student anxiety. I am, however, happy to give you some observations of your student's overall performance in the course.
