Students will learn how to load the dishwasher efficiently, as well as help with any excess kitchen clean up.
I have taught life skills to young learners for many years! In addition, I am the dishwasher-loader in our house, and have loaded many dishwashers during our travels to different countries. I will share some stories during class.
-Dirty dishes -Dishwasher -Dishwasher soap/tablet -Cloth or sponge for scrubbing -Soap for washing/scrubbing -Cloth to wipe the counter *Not all items are mandatory. Whatever you have available is fine:)
Informal assessment by seeing their dishwashers/kitchens
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Loading the dishwasher and doing the dishes is low risk. However, to be safe, I ask that students be supervised, especially if there are any sharp knives or very heavy items to load. Tap water for scrubbing should be hot but not too hot.
Energy is all we need to have fun!
