Class Experience

Cubic planets? Cubic pigs? Cubic clouds? Gravity? Rocks? Sun? WHAT?!?!?!

This is a science based topic using Minecraft. It will meet one time to explore a new cubic world. Students will use existing knowledge about planets and gravity to engage in discussion with peers. Guided questions will prompt deeper thinking.

As class begins we will share our favorite Minecraft characters and get to know each other through our Minecraft world visions. I will play a 5 minute video from PBS to show how...

This class is taught in English.

Students will determine if a cubic planet can exist.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

I will present a video from PBS during class.
