Smaug from Lord of the Rings. Godzilla, Puff. Toothless. Dragons have captured our imagination since medieval times. Today modern dragons exist in all shapes and sizes, and many of them are commonly kept as pets. Meet dragons from around the world with this interactive class. We will cover the animals environments in the wild, why they resemble "dragons," which ones can be good pets and which ones are more care, and much more. The class is presentation style followed by a Q&A for each animal. Learners do not need any prior experience or knowledge, just a love of animals and excitement to learn.

Since 2008 I have been teaching people of all ages about reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. I am excited to bring our unique programming to OutSchool.
I was one of the stars of SCALED, which aired in 195 Countries on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. As one of the shows reptile experts, I helped people pick the perfect animal for them and educated about all sorts of incredible creatures.
I have toured across Canada with stage shows and displays and educated hundreds of thousands of people about reptiles.
In Fall of 2021 we are launching the YYC Nature & Education Centre in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
Blended with fun facts and video animal experiences, we teach the important messages of conservation as well as responsible pet ownership.
