Live-Understanding Money, Financial Literacy 101-Summer Camp

During summer camp we will learn how money works. We will talk about: bank accounts, credit cards, pay stubs, taxes, savings, interest and how to create a budget!

Class Experience

I have over 17 years of experience working with 1st through 12th grade students, both in brick and mortar schools and online.  I am not a financial advisor, but I do have a Bachelors degree in Business. This class is an introduction to basic financial literacy.
Day 1: wants vs needs/Envelopes
Day 2: Credit Card 
Day 3: Bills 
 3 files available upon enrollment
***Students will need a calculator during class. In addition, they will need 3 envelopes and color pencils/old magazines, etc. Also, worksheets will need to be printed.
2 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
