LIVE Online Art Class: Stack-O-Lanterns and Pile-O-Pumpkins
In this one-time class, students will draw stacked pumpkins and have the choice of turning them into Jack-o-lanterns or leaving them alone.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Through the guided drawing process, students will draw pumpkins or Jack-O-Lanterns that appear to be stacked. We will use the technique of overlapping to create the appearance that the pumpkins are stacked on each other. Students will have the opportunity to color their pumpkins in any color scheme they choose. My teaching style involves breaking the process down into smaller, easy-to-follow steps. I pace the class according to the needs of the students; if needed, I give fast finishers a break, allowing students who need more time to complete their work, the time to do so, and even then, finishing before class ends is NOT the objective. The examples in the picture are only suggestive; students may also request a particular favorite if time allows. My classes are intended to be fun, informative, and a safe place to take artistic risks and make mistakes--that is experimentation, which artists do all the time! At the end of class, students will be invited to share their creations no matter what their progress is
