When I do, the class often runs shorter than the amount of time listed, due to the fact that less time is used with introductions, or with differing abilities and processing speeds in different students. Students will practice and use the art elements: line, shape, color and pattern to create a detailed drawing of a feather. We will discuss various patterns, shapes, and color combinations that make the drawing look dynamic.
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
