Live on Election Night! In this interactive class, students will learn: -How voting works (and how it varies by state) -What a ballot looks like (with examples from different states) -How polls and the Electoral College work -What happens after election night They’ll also participate in respectful, non-partisan discussions with their peers, covering election day news, poll results, and Electoral College updates as they unfold during class. The class will be split evenly between learning the basics of elections and discussing live election news. While this election season can be polarizing, I’ll ensure that news and information from across the political spectrum are included, with a focus on inclusivity and respect for all students.
