Littlest Chef Baking School: Let's Make Pizza
Class experience
Young and old everyone loves pizza. It is fun to eat but even more fun to make. In this one-time class we will introduce your little chef to pizza making. Students will learn to mix their own dough, use their hands or a rolling pin to shape a pizza, and decide how to use the toppings of their choice to decorate it. And all of this will be done in a half hour so they will be able to enjoy their creation for lunch, dinner, or an afternoon snack. They will also receive a certificate...
1 file available upon enrollmentIngredients Needed (Measurements provided upon enrollment): • Self-Rising White Flour (If you do not have Self-Rising Flour you can substitute a combination of All Purpose White Flour, Baking Powder, and Salt) • Plain Fat Free Greek Yogurt (I recommend Fage Total 0% Nonfat Greek Yogurt) • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese • Red Sauce of your choice (Any Bottled or Canned Spaghetti, Marinara, or plain Tomato Sauce will do) • Toppings of your choice (e.g., Pepperoni, Green/Red/Yellow Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, Pineapple, Black Olives, Broccoli, halved Cherry Tomatoes) Miscellaneous Supplies Needed: • Pizza Pan or Baking Sheet • Pam Spray • Oven
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Prior to Class: An adult will need to gather all the ingredients. Measuring will be done during class. During Class: An adult will need to bake the pizza in an oven. Most students will also need assistance with measuring ingredients during class. If you prefer you can also measure everything ahead of time and put them in separate small bowls so your child can just add the ingredients together as we go through the recipe. Allergies: The supply list section includes all ingredients. Please review if your child has any allergies.
Welcome! I am Ms. Tricia. I have had a love of baking and crafts since I was little. There was never anything that seemed too complicated to tackle. I have applied this can-do attitude to create a variety of baked goods, decorated cakes,...
