Does your little one love to draw & paint? Then this weekly class is for them! Each week we will explore a different theme. We will learn to draw the subject with crayons and then paint with watercolour. It will be both educational and fun!

🎨 Does your little one love to draw & paint? Then this weekly class is for them! Join in any time! No experience necessary :) 🖍️ Each week there will be a different theme that we will explore. We will start by drawing our subject with crayons and then paint it with watercolour. We will learn basic drawing skills and watercolour techniques such as: colour mixing, painting textures, and more! This is a process oriented class, so the final results may be abstract, but it is more about developing fine motor skills and having fun while drawing and painting! Learners will have the opportunity to show their artwork to the class and connect with other budding artists. It will be hands on, interactive and fun! Supply List: watercolour paints, crayons, watercolour paper (approximately 9” x 12”), a paintbrush, water jar, tissues or paper towel.

🎨 I am an artist and educator with more than 10 years of teaching experience and I LOVE teaching art!
👩🎓 I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and have taught a wide range of art classes over the years, including teaching art to individuals on the autism spectrum.
🦋 My specialities include drawing animals and nature, as well as painting with watercolour.
🌈✨ I always strive to teach fun and engaging classes while creating an inclusive environment that puts learners at ease. I like to sprinkle educational facts into each art class and allow lots of room for creativity. I don’t believe art should be stressful and strongly believe that having good art experiences can lead to greater self confidence and improved mental health.
