In this flex class, we will learn about two new animals every week! We will learn about where they live, what they eat and what they look like. We will also colour in a picture of the animal. This class will also cover basic zoology terms.

Class Experience

*Please note that this class will not include any live meetings. All communication will be made in the Outschool classroom*

Learn about two new animals each week! Where can we find them in the wild? What do they eat? What makes them different from other animals? After we learn the answers to these questions, we will spend some time colouring in pictures of them too!

I am a calm, patient teacher who encourages children to participate by asking questions. My class is the perfect learning...

Learners will:
- gain knowledge of 12 different animals
- create fact files for each animal
- learn basic zoology terms such as classes of vertebrates, animal diets, etc.
- engage with their peers through different activities

  1 file available upon enrollmentPrint-outs will be posted each week
Learners will need colouring pencils/crayons

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod

No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.

This class includes discussions about conservation status and poaching. There are also mentions of animals eating other animals. No graphic images are shown.
Children may also need support when completing the weekly tasks.
