Description
Class Experience
Students will learn that writing begins with a simple picture that we can add details to. Students will learn that we can use words to describe our picture. Students will look at a writing rubric to see how to start a good picture and examples of different kinds of details that can be added to a picture to make a good picture even better.
1. Notebook or a piece of paper to draw 2. Markers to draw with 3. Choose one or more: Crayons/ Markers/Colored pencils to color with
Learners will be assessed through informal observation as students share their pictures with the group.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
