Description

Class Experience

In this one-time class, learners will enjoy a Valentine's themed party. This class is composed of three activities:

1. Story: Ms. Jill will read-aloud a story about a little girl who makes special Valentine cards for the people she loves. 

2. Craft: Students will be given step-by-step instructions on how to complete a craft related to the story we read. 

3. Recipe: What's a party without a special treat? Our recipe for this class is Valentine's Floats. It is such a yummy treat!

•	1 sheet of white cardstock paper (or thin cardboard, like an empty cereal box)
•	Pencil
•	Cotton balls 
•	String, yarn, or thread
•	1 sheet of red paper
•	1 sheet of pink paper
•	Scissors
•	Liquid white glue (glue stick will NOT work for this craft)
•	Clear tape

Recipe: 
•	Cup
•	Straw 
•	Spoon
•	Raspberry sherbet
•	Sprite (or other lemon-lime soda)
•	whipped cream (optional)
•	red or pink sprinkles (optional)

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
