In this one time class students will learn some of the basic foundations of good vocal technique in a fun and encouraging environment! In this class students will begin with a warm up that focuses on proper breathing and singing in a safe and age appropriate manner. We will also use Tonic Sol-fa (Do, Re, Mi, etc.) to help students begin to become familiar with the basic 5 note pentascale. Students will then learn a portion of a popular song as a group and be given the opportunity to sing alone with piano accompaniment to build confidence!

Hello from sunny Florida!
I am a piano and voice (singing) teacher who also has lots of theater experience! I'll be offering a variety of music programs for kids of all ages.
I have been teaching piano since 2001 and it was one of my first jobs. I added voice and theater into the mix in 2006 when I received my BA in Music Performance from American University in Washington, DC. I was blessed in 2012 to be able to start teaching full time and I have never looked back!
I've been teaching music for 20+ years and I have loved every moment of it! I especially love working with young singers and helping them explore their voices and understand free and easy vocal production.

In addition to music I am also a homeschool mom and a part time gamer. I love everything from tower defense to cozy farming games.
