Have you ever made a volcano science experiment? What about a volcano that turns into slime? In this class, learners will participate in a Fizzing Slime Volcano science experiment. 1️⃣ The first part of class will be to double check our materials/ingredients needed to put on the show. 2️⃣ Once learners check their list of items, the teacher will go over what the term 'hypothesis' means through thoughtful questions and engagement with every learner. This will allow everyone the chance to provide an educated guess, but also to listen to their peers and other guesses that can arise. 3️⃣ The teacher will then walk learners step-by-step through the science experiment process. As learners visualize their experiment, Teacher Jessica will explain what materials caused the reaction for the volcano to erupt, and a separate reasoning for it turning into slime! I cannot wait to meet your little scientist in the making! The materials needed for this experiment will be posted down below under the 'Supply List' tab.

Parental Guidance
Learners may need assistance when completing their Fizzing Slime Volcano but please note that parents are not allowed on screen for the safety of learners. Parents are more than welcome to assist their learners out of view from the camera.
Supply List
The materials learners will need to complete their science experiment are: ⭐️ one 4oz bottle of Elmers White Glue ⭐️ white vinegar ⭐️ baking soda ⭐️ saline solution (contact lens solution) ⭐️ yellow & red food coloring ⭐️ small cup ⭐️ small container ⭐️ spoon or stirring stick ⭐️ tray

Welcome! My name is Jessica (Teacher Jessica). I have my Master's in Elementary Education (multiple subjects)! I have taught in the 6th grade classroom, and as of the last four years I have been teaching here on Outschool!
My teaching experience has given me the knowledge and tools necessary to ensure all students can thrive inside and outside of the classroom. Being an elementary school teacher, I enjoy and have fun teaching in all areas; as you may notice with my class listings I enjoy doing a little bit of everything!
