Class Experience
During this class, students will listen to the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. Then students will participate in a reader's theater version of the story through interactive play and reading. Students will practice reading the reader's theater script with expression and fluency. After practicing, students will perform the story as a group. Students will improve expressive reading and fluency.
As a reading interventionist, I have taught young readers to love reading while helping them improve their reading skills.
Students may wish to read their reader's theater story script to their family.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed informally by their participation in reading the reader's theater story.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
