Class Experience

Calling all princes and princesses in the land. Come join us as we bake 4 magical treats in this 4 day camp. A new treat for each day of the camp. This is standard chef training for every future king or queen.

This camp includes recipes that are treasured at all kingdoms far and wide. We will measure and mix the ingredients, decorate the treats, and delight in the fact that we made it ourselves. You will love seeing your child's excitement and joy as they learn new recipes. Your little prince or princess will also be delighted by all the fun and enchanting extras above and beyond the recipes included during the week.

Day 1: Colorful Crinkle Cookies
Day 2: Rainbow Grilled Cheese and Fruit Salad
Day 3: Doughnuts
Day 4: Chocolate Chip Blondies

Every recipe has been tested by me to ensure that it is not only simple but that it also tastes great. There are no videos or PowerPoints in this camp. I complete the recipe right along with your child and encourage them every step of the way. Come join me and enjoy some delicious treats.

Notes:
- Parental guidance will be necessary during this camp due to the age of the learners and the use of the oven. A knife will also be used for cutting fruit.

- Your child can measure everything during class right along with me or they can premeasure everything before class and add as we go. The choice is up to you.

- A small amount of additional time outside of class will be needed to finish baking the cookies and blondies but I will demonstrate how to test for doneness and describe or show what the final product should look like when done. The doughnuts and grilled cheese sandwich will finish baking within class time.

- Due to the age of the learners and variation on task completion times I have found that the doughnut class can run 5 to 10 minutes over. This is also dependent on the number of students enrolled. I do finish demonstrating everything within class time but the additional time usually allows for everyone to finish decorating their doughnuts, etc. and ask any additional questions. I stay on as long as needed.

Parental Guidance
Prior to Class: An adult may need to assist in gathering all the ingredients. Measuring will be done during class. During Class: An adult will need to bake the items in the oven. If you prefer you can also measure everything ahead of time and put them in separate small bowls so your child can just add the ingredients together as we go through the recipe. Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome! I am Ms. Tricia. I have had a love of baking and crafts since I was little. There was never anything that seemed too complicated to tackle. I have applied this can-do attitude to create a variety of baked goods, decorated cakes, costumes, and other crafts to the delight of friends, family, and most importantly my 7-year-old son.

I have had the benefit of great encouragement to nurture me along the way. This is what I hope to do for your child. There is no limit to what they can do if they put their mind to it.

No matter if your child is the shyest or most outgoing student, they will feel comfortable in my class. I am all about having fun and inspiring creativity while learning new things.

I hope you will consider one of my classes. It might be the start of a new lifelong hobby for your child.
