Description

Class Experience

In this 4-week course, students will continue to learn piano songs, theory, and techniques on a primer level.  Students must have completed the primer A books or have knowledge of reading the Middle C position notes on the staff.  We will use the piano book for learning songs and the supplemental book for Theory & Technic exercises. 
My method of teaching is patient, personable, and supportive. I love teaching young students new concepts.

Hello and Welcome! I have been involved with music since I was a young musician myself.  I studied vocal music and piano in school as well as being a part of various musical groups for 30 years. After college, I developed a music business and music summer camp. Years later I went on to study Counseling and became a School-Based Counselor. Although I have been a Counselor and worked in the School System with youth, I am thrilled to return to teaching music with Outschool.

A piano or keyboard

These books can be purchased on Amazon,  local music stores, or methodbooks.com

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
